The Media Image Wins Three Awards in a Week Including Independent Agency of the Year

Last week marked a significant milestone for TMI as we secured the Best Use of Search – Finance (PPC) title at the prestigious European Search Awards 2020. In the same week, the same campaign clinched the Best PPC Campaign award at the Global Agency Awards 2020. The award-winning campaign, titled The Media Image & Refinitiv – Rebrand and Restructure, Sustaining Efficiency at Scale For A New Brand, highlights our expertise in driving impactful and scalable solutions for our clients.

This campaign built on the success of a 2019 entry that saw TMI shortlisted for a previous Refinitiv rebrand initiative. Demonstrating our commitment to excellence, this campaign was shortlisted an impressive six times in 2020 before achieving this well-deserved recognition. Refinitiv itself emerged in 2018 when Thomson Reuters sold a majority 55% stake in its Financial & Risk (F&R) unit to private equity firm Blackstone Group LP. Our ability to help a blue-chip brand successfully navigate such a significant transition reflects the depth of our capabilities in managing complex, high-stakes projects.

These wins bring the campaign’s total to four awards in 2020, following earlier successes:

Finance Campaign of the Year at the UK Biddable Media Awards 2020.

The judges from Don’t Panic Projects, organizers of the European Search Awards, commended the campaign with high praise:

TMI Named Independent Agency of the Year

In addition to our campaign victories, TMI was also honored as Independent Agency of the Year at the Global Agency Awards 2020. This marks our fifth nomination but first win in this category, a testament to the outstanding contributions from every department within our agency. The recognition further solidifies our position as a leader in the marketing and media space.
