As a startup, nobody knew about the personal finance product available – “online mortgage broker” or this new company. Habito needed to launch a new site, but they also needed to ensure that it was accessible (optimised for search engines) and would be ranked as a relevant search result in this highly competitive niche, which already has many well established traditional financial institutions.
Extensive research was rolled out to identify opportunities in this highly competitive niche and recommendations were provided. Core issues were then addressed, especially keyword optimisation. Simultaneously competitor analysis was rolled out to benchmark performance in this competitive niche to ascertain short, medium and long term goals for organic performance.
Keyword Research, On Page Optimisation
After extensive keyword research, on page optimisation, continued technical support and recommendations, keyword groups were identified for the planned content production. Blog recommendations were provided and plans for a blog were put into place, a strategy was provided and content research conducted for topic generation.
Content & Outreach
While the blog was being developed, to start work on boosting habito’s domain authority, larger content assets and guides were produced client side with recommendations from TMI. We then invested heavily in organic outreach and some more strategic content amplification strategies to promote the habito site/brand and its services, throughout the process acquiring strong backlinks to the site and boosting the overall domain authority.
